Please tell me about Microblading.
Chloe uses the top quality blade to place pigment into the outer surface skin and is called ‘Microblading’. The effect very closely mimics the look and detail of actual brow hairs, creating a bolder, natural-looking brow. Using a traditional tattoo gun is not required and is very different from what people are usually seeing as tattoo.
There are different terms referring the Microblading as eyebrow embrodiery or feathering, but they are essentially the same technique.
Tell me more about Combination Brows.
This technique combines Microblading and Ombre shading together. Generally speaking, microblading is performed at the front of the brows to make it more look like fluffy hair. Ombre shading is performed in the middle of the brows to the tails to make your eyebrow look fuller and filled. If your skin-type is more oily, this method is great for retention longevity.
What about Microshading and Ombre Shading?
Microshading and ombré shading is also a semi-permanent eyebrow procedure where it uses a needle that places semi-permanent pigment in the upper layer of skin in a stippling technique. The overall look of the eyebrows once it has healed is more of a filled-in make-up look compared to the hair-like look of microblading. Some clients prefer this type of look or if someone has an oily skin complexion, this procedure might be more ideal for better healed results.
What is Lash Enhancement?
Lash enhancement is eyeliner tattoo that is done along the eyelashes to define the eyes without the look of heavy makeup. Normally it is about 0.3cm – 0.5cm in thickness and is placed within the lash line to create an extremely subtle and natural looking eyeline. It is recommended for those seeking to enhance the natural size of their eyes or wish to look more alert with the look of minimal makeup.
Does it hurt?
Highly effective topical anesthetic cream is used to numb the area to be treated. This helps to alleviate any minor discomfort you may experience during the procedure. Comfort levels varies according to individual pain threshold and response to anesthetics. Some people describe what they feel as ‘irritation’, ‘vibration’, or ‘a slight burning sensation’.
What is Design Eyeliner?
Designed & winged eyeliner is usually thicker and bolder eyeliner tattoo with winged tails at either straight or upward angels depending on the preference of client. Thickness and length are fully customized to client preference and it is recommended for those who prefer bolder and dramatic makeup look.
Is it safe to get procedure?
Each procedure is done under strict sanitation and sterilization rules. A well-trained, certified semi-permanent makeup artist administers each procedure using disposable needles and parts.
Allergic Reactions from pigments?
The pigments used on all our procedures are hypoallergenic and reactions to these products are extremely rare. However, after care instructions should be strictly followed to prevent any bacterial infection.
I am curious about how the final color will turn out.
Color will always look darker and more intense immediately following a procedure. It will gradually lighten and soften upon healing, which should take about 3 to 7 days and continue to lighten over several weeks.
Would it last long?
Semi-permanent makeup will last up to 2-3 years. It will gradually fade over time and we recommend that our clients come in for an annual touch-up to maintain a good shape and colour. However, the frequency of touch-ups depend on a number of factors including: your skin type, lifestyle (sun exposure), iron deficiency (your body absorbs iron-oxide as a supplement), and if any chemical peels come into contact with treated areas.
Do you think I am the right candidate for semi permanent make up?
Semi-permanent makeup is a safe and reliable procedure and suitable for most people. However, if you have any of the following conditions, please consult with your doctor before attempting any one of our procedures and bring a doctor’s note with you to your appointment. If you have any of the following conditions and do not have a legitimate doctor’s note with approval, we cannot perform this procedure for you. There are no exceptions to this rule.
